There’s a funny little thing that happens when you fall in love with dot art: you find your people.
People who understand why a new paint color can make your whole day. Who will happily admire the same mandala you’ve been staring at for six hours. Who know that “just a few more dots” is almost never a few more dots.
Somewhere along the way, this art form becomes about more than the things we create. Friendships happen. Inspiration gets passed around. We cheer each other on. We learn from each other. And this big, colorful, wonderfully weird corner of the world starts to feel a little bit like home.
I think that might be part of the magic of dots.
Here are a few ways to find your people.:

Free Facebook Community
My free Facebook community is a place to share what you're creating, ask questions, find inspiration, cheer on other artists, and connect with people who love this wonderfully weird little art form as much as you do. You can share art that you create with me and art that you create on your own!
Sometimes you just need people who understand why you got ridiculously excited about a perfectly round dot. Or completed that monster 36 inch piece.
It's also a great way to keep an eye on what I'm up to!
Make art. Send art. Get art.
There's something extra magical about holding a piece of art made by someone you've never met, especially when they created it just for you.
The Bigt Mandala Exchange brings dotters together through good old-fashioned snail mail. You'll create your own mandalas, send them out into the world, and receive original artwork from fellow dotters in return. Art you can touch and hold and love and appreciate.
A little creativity. A little connection. And some very happy mail.
Come create with us, we're saving a seat at the table for you.
Dotting is wonderful by yourself. It's even more fun when you're creating alongside people who get just as excited about color palettes and tiny dots as you do.
Inside the Kaleidoscope Mandala Club, we create new mandalas together every month, share our creations, encourage each other, and keep finding new reasons to sit down and make something beautiful. We get together via YouTube live on Mondays, have a private Facebook group and a Share Space to interact and cheer each other on.
Come for the mandalas. Stay for the people.
Because we're better when we grow together.
Behind the scenes of the dotting community, a small group of artists has been working together to help everyone succeed. The Dot Collective is a monthly mastermind made up of dot art business owners who meet to share ideas, solve challenges, celebrate wins, and support one another's growth. Rather than competing, the group believes there's room for everyone at the table and that a stronger, more connected community benefits us all.
Our goal extends beyond growing our own businesses:
We collaborate not only to help one another, but to create resources, events, and opportunities that make the dotting community more vibrant for everyone.
You can find and follow us on Facebook to see what we're up to!
